On March 8, 2018, Bandidas Taqueria restaurant held an International Women’s Day fundraiser and art show and donated 100% of their profits from the sale of food and drinks to the following organizations:
- Canadian Council of Muslim Women
- WAVAW
- Safe Teen
- Downtown Eastside Women’s Centre
- Sheway
- Equal Voice
- Native Women’s Association of Canada
- Egale Canada
