Rizwan Mohammad, National Coordinator
A graduate of the University of Toronto specializing in history and philosophy, Rizwan coordinates youth-led community building projects with the Canadian Council of Muslim Women (CCMW). His work focuses on addressing the challenges of racism, poverty, and militarism through mobilizing young people to engage in experimental activities to strengthen civil society. Passionate about media ethics and environmental justice, Rizwan specializes in civic literacy education, civic engagement training, and community capacity building. Stephane L. Pressault, National Advisor
Growing up French-Canadian in Ottawa gave Stephane a firsthand opportunity to see the increasing diversity and multiculturalism of a city whose growth and development he is passionate about. For several years, Stephane has been an active community organizer and educator in Ottawa and across Canada. He has consulted for various national and local organizations. In 2014, he completed an MA in Public Ethics at Saint Paul University. Stephane specializes in civic literacy education and curriculum design, civic engagement training, and community resilience and capacity building. Steven Zhou is an award-winning journalist and writer based in Toronto covering extremism, with an emphasis on right-wing populism.
