In celebration of International Women’s Day the Canadian Council of Muslim Women (CCMW) has launched two resources for educators and service providers. The first, Being a Canadian Muslim Woman in the 21st Century: Educational Resource Kit, while primarily aimed at educators and teachers in the classroom, can also be used to sensitize service providers such as social workers and physicians, to issues and challenges faced by young Muslim women.. The second, MY Canada: Finding Common Ground was created by and for Muslim youth and those who want to engage with them.
