Eid Mubarik & Happy Canada- 150
2017 is special as this year’s Eid coincides with Canada’s 150 birthday anniversary, reminding us to be thankful for our blessings to be Canadian citizens living in peace and enjoying the fundamental human rights of freedom and equality. Canada’s welcome of thousands of predominantly Muslim refugees best honors the spirit behind fasting. Thank you Canada Post for issuing a special postage stamp which enhances the awareness of Eid to all Canadians
