GirlSpeak is planning its 3rd annual panel discussion designed for young women between the ages of 16 to 23 years who are interested in ideas, debate and discussion. Young women of all or no faith backgrounds are invited to contact Dr. Ferruk Faruqui at ferrukh123@yahoo.com.
The topic will be announced shortly. All participants will present a 2 to 3 minute address, which will be followed by question and answer with the audience. Last year the topic was on the societal ramifications of the education woman.
The event is tentatively set for early to mid-November. Dr. Ferruk is looking for a diverse panel to foster and stimulate an appreciation for diversity of thought. The event may be videotaped.
