Alt Muslimah has a project for a series called “I Speak for Myself” and it will be published by White Cloud Press. The book project will be funded by the Becket Fund and the stories are to be written by believing women from all faiths. The book is about legal and societal restrictions faced by women, who are empowered by faith.
This project will challenge the mainstream media’s emphases on “religion as disempowering”.
