CCMW signed the petition launched through Avaaz.org to release Mohamed Fahmy from an Egyptian prison for the crime of journalism.
Mohhamed and his colleagues have done nothing more than report on the Cairo protests and now they are trapped. Mohamed is an accomplished, award-winning journalist. He has worked for the LA Times, BBC, CNN in Iraq, Lebanon and Egypt and just recently joined Al-Jazeera.
Pressure should be put on Egypt’s new regime to free an innocent journalist!
